Avril Scott - Dancing Waters

Born and bred in Portobello, Edinburgh, Avril Scott is a mixed media artist working mainly with acrylic inks.

Avril works from her she-shed in the garden and is inspired by the seascapes around her home near Portobello and her many trips to East Lothian and the Highlands and islands of Scotland.  

She enjoys creating stylised landscapes and seascapes and is strongly influenced by the textures of the land and shoreline with the focus being on her perception of the colours within her surroundings.
