Janet Leitch

Janet is a Sheffield trained and based jeweller from West Yorkshire. A lot of her work focuses on contrasting textures, many of which have been inspired by Yorkshire’s natural and manmade scenery. Her jewellery making technique has developed over the years, allowing her to create contemporary and classic designs using traditionally trained techniques. Her work blends both silver and gold precious metals using the ancient Korean technique of Keum Boo to combine the metals and create a unique style. Some of her designs are further enhanced with oxidisation to accentuate the textures and provide a different style.
